In addition to the required course work and independent study, your training will be provided by experienced teachers skilled at helping students develop confidence and their own authentic teaching style." - Jyoti Chrystal, E.R.Y.T. - Starseed's Founder & Director SSYTT OPEN HOUSE TEAS THE PROGRAM Starseed's Yoga Teacher Training Program (SSYTT) was developed and elaborated by Jyoti Chrystal over a number of years, and has a great many graduates teaching yoga in countries around the world, as well as in a great many yoga studios in our region- a testimony to the thoroughness and efficiency of Starseed's training and the high level of professionalism manifested in its its graduates! Jyoti has now turned many of her teacher training responsibilities for the most part over to senior yoga teachers and yoga teacher educators that she has personally trained and worked with, assuring a continuity of the highest quality training available. Our program promises a deep personal experience; one that will enrich your life, your personal practice and knowledge of the application of yoga in a very practical way. You will gain self-awareness and the potency to fill your life with more joy and passion! We offer the tools needed to become an effective and inspiring yoga teacher. In addition to the required course work and independent study, your training will be provided by experienced teachers skilled at helping students develop confidence and their own authentic teaching style. Our program distinguishes itself from others, in part, because of our emphasis on the development of a personal practice. Drawing on her shamanic training (an ancient, earth-based method of self-discovery), and knowledge of the yoga sutras. Jyoti Chrystal is skilled and intuitive at nurturing and mentoring students to develop their own unique and personal yoga practice. A good teacher’s personal practice is, in her opinion, fundamental to their foundation.
COURSE DESCRIPTION: SCHEDULE SSYTT's 2008-2009 schedule is being finalized and
will be announced shortly. PRICING * 18 weekend trainings * If you pay in full (cash or check) by August
1st, 2008, your tuition is $3000 (If you withdraw from the program before September
20th, 2008 you will be refunded your deposit minus a $250.00 cancellation
fee.If you withdraw from the program after its start date, we do
not offer a refund. We accept credit card payments with a 3% surcharge.) THE NEXT
STEP CERTIFICATION Certification is dependent upon successful completion of all assigned work and the staff’s collective evaluation of the student’s ability to adequately evaluate, demonstrate and communicate the art and science of yoga. Prior to certification, students will be required to successfully teach an audition classes. Additionally, students will be required to sign a statement obligating them to observe professional rules of ethical conduct upon graduating.
