DIRECTIONS TO STARSEED (215 Glenridge Avenue, near corner of Bloomfield and Glenridge Avenues, Montclair, New Jersey) Note: Metered parking is available on Glenridge Avenue, at the municipal parking areas across from our studios and between the Crescent and Church Street (see map) 1 block away. Recommended free parking is located on Forest Street, just off of Glenridge and 1 block away from our studio.
FROM POINTS NORTH OF MONTCLAIR
Garden State Parkway South to Exit 151. At the bottom of the ramp, make a right onto Watchung Avenue. Stay on Watchung Ave. to Grove Street (3rd traffic light). Turn left onto Grove Street. Continue on Grove St. to Glenridge Avenue (4th traffic light). Turn right onto Glenridge Ave. and continue to #215.
FROM POINTS OF SOUTH OF MONTCLAIR
Garden State Parkway North to Exit 148 - Bloomfield Avenue/Montclair. At bottom of ramp cross over Bloomfield Avenue and make the horseshoe turn to the left which will take you back to Bloomfield Avenue. Turn right onto Bloomfield Ave. Stay on Bloomfield Ave. through the towns of Bloomfield and Glen Ridge to Montclair. When you get to Montclair, you will see the “Lackawanna Shopping Center” (a strip mall) on your right. Make a right onto Grove Street. Proceed one block until Glenridge Ave., make a left and continue to #215.
FROM POINTS EAST OF MONTCLAIR
Route 3 West to Exit Grove Street - Montclair/Paterson. At the top of the ramp, turn left. Proceed down Grove Street to Glenridge Avenue (10th traffic light). Turn right onto Glenridge Ave. and continue to #215.
FROM POINTS WEST OF MONTCLAIR
Take Route 280 East to Exit 8B - Prospect Avenue, Cedar Grove. At the bottom of the ramp turn right on Prospect Ave. Proceed North on Prospect Ave. to Bloomfield Avenue (Exxon station on left, Acura dealer on opposite corner), turn right. Stay on Bloomfield Ave. into Montclair. At Willow Street, turn left. Go one block to Glenridge Ave., turn left. Continue to #215 (1.5 blocks).
DIRECTIONS FROM OUR OLD LOCATION
From our old location on the corner of Bloomfield Avenue and South Willow Street, drive across Bloomfield Avenue following Willow Street until you come to the first intersection (1 block to Glenridge Avenue). Make a left on Glenridge Avenue and proceed for about 2 blocks. We are on your right side at 215 Glenridge Avenue.
From Western New Jersey
From Route 78 East, take GS Parkway North (see directions above).
From Port Authority Bus Terminal
Please inform your bus-driver if you are unfamiliar with the area.
DeCamp Bus #33
to Bloomfield Avenue, at the corner of Glenridge Avenue. Walk down 20 yards along Glenridge Avenue; Starseed is on the left at 215.
DeCamp Bus #66
to Park Street YMCA. Walk straight ahead to Bloomfield Avenue. Make a left on Bloomfield Avenue and continue for one block. Cross over North Fullerton Avenue and pass Hampton House furniture on the corner. Continue to first intersection ("V" intersection) anbd bear left on Glenridge Avenue. We are on the left side at 215.

PARKING
There is meter parking on the street (1 hour) which is free on Sundays in front of our studio and across the street. There is also a municipal parking lot (2 hour meters) across the street on Glenridge Avenue. Additionally, there is 2-hour street parking at the Crescent/Church Street municipal parking lot, approximately 1.5 blocks away. All meter parking is free on Sundays and after 6pm at night. There is also fre parking on Forest Street (which intersects Glenridge Avenue) 1 block away.
Parking for Evening Workshops and Classes:
Non-metered, free parking is at times problematic - please leave yourself ample time to find a parking space and arrive at your class or workshop on time. If you are attending a weekend workshop, there is parking available, but plan on an extra 15 minutes to find non-metered parking on adjacent streets.
