Jill Wodnick, MA, CD(DONA) is a dynamic educator for women and their families in the childbearing year. Jill has years practicing as a certified birth doula and holistic childbirth educator with her workshops being compassionate and empowering. She was the co-owner of Wise Woman Birthways, LLC (closing it in 2006 to birth her third child)and an accomplished grant writer, consultant and teacher for Steve Adubato’s Stand & Deliver Speech & Leadership program. Jill has an academic background teaching for NJ Governor’s School of Public Issues, Seton Hall Prep and Seton Hall University with the areas of public speaking/speech communication, maternal child health, women’s studies and theatre arts. She has trained women’s health professionals at Expectant Head Start, the Black Infant Mortality Resource Reduction Center as well as hundreds of expectant parents! Jill has been a featured expert in pregnancy for numerous articles and will be featured as a doula and pre natal yoga teacher for an upcoming PBS program “Real Moms.” Specializing in pre natal yoga, Jill is thrilled to teach at Starseed Yoga Center. She authors essays on the passage to motherhood and can be found singing, baking, and playing Yahtzee with her husband and her three sons, Nathaniel, Sebastion and Emerson in Bloomfield, NJ.
