Gentle Level 1: An integrated gentle yoga practice incorporating guided movement and breath awareness.

Level 1: An active class that introduces the basic yoga poses (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), as well as meditation.

Open Level: Open to all levels of students-beginner to advanced. Poses can be modified to accommodate all levels.

Beginner Yoga: An introduction to yoga philosophy and concepts, general guidelines and rules, a basic introduction to poses, and an introduction to our own unique Starseed universe.

Flow Classes (Level 1 and Flow Open): Movements are synchronized with breath in flowing sequences of postures, designed to warm and stretch the body. Performing a practice of poses and counterposes helps one move into symmetry and achieve a sense of balance and a subtle state of meditative awareness. Level 1 Flow classes introduce the dynamic of conscious breath with movement, and maintain a focus on correct alignment and muscular engagement throughout the poses. Flow Open Classes build on this foundation, while moving at a more vigorous pace and adding more challenging postures.

Kundalini for Beginners: Kundalini yoga is the householders yoga; you don't need to be a pretzel and the benefits are immediate. Through posture and movement
the physical body gains strength, stamina, and flexibility. Breathing techniques and short mediations relax the mind, and balance the emotions. All body systems are worked on to to increase balanced function, including the brain. The rewards of kundalini yoga may include states of bliss.

Pre-Natal: This class is designed to prepare you for a healthier pregnancy and to allow an easier delivery. Starseed recommends that mommies-to-be begin this class as early in their pregnancy as possible, but women at all stages of pregnancy can be easily accommodated. Emphasis is on pelvic alignment and breathing exercises.

Mindfulness Meditation: Meditation is a process that leads to serenity, clarity, and well-being. The ultimate aim of mindfulness meditation is to integrate and harmonize mind, body, and spirit, so that you may lead a more enlightened life.

Pilates: Intelligent exercise. Profound results. Pilates is a strength flexibility workout based on the original teachings of German athlete, Joseph Pilates. It recognizes current anatomy knowledge and restores the natural shock absorbing curves of the spine making it a wonderful compliment to jogging, tennis, and a variety of sports related activities. It is a wonderful way to tone and balance the body utilizing breath and coordination and is a mind-body experience that leaves you feeling mentally and physically revitalized.

Buddhist Meditation: Is Buddhism and meditation curious to you? Do you want to create a more sane and uplifted life? In our Buddhist Meditation class students will learn the basics of this ancient practice. They will cultivate awareness and experience their natural basic goodness and dignity, as well as learn to pay attention to the wisdom of your body. Students will become engaged in the present moment and witness their mind. Practice Being Present & Live More Mindfully!
